Ya'll can judge the mormon religion all you want, but there is zero doubt in my mind that they are doing good things. I personally am not LDS, but one of my closest friends Jenny is...and she is absolutely amazing...her family members are the best kind of people. Her son Jaden is serving a mission in Africa...helping other humans. That's right humans...just like me and you.
Here's my opinion on mormonism. In my experience, some tend to be exclusionary. Whether they teach this or not doesn't matter to me. Jenny doesn't exclude her friends based on what religion they are. Isn't that a breath of fresh air? Isn't that what we all should be doing? How about we be the person that does NOT exclude people from our lives based on their beliefs, their color, their weaknesses, their personalities. Mormon or not, that's the kind of person I want to be and the kind of people I want in my life.
I believe at the end of the day, we are going to get to heaven (yep, this girl believes in heaven) and God (put what ever name you want here) is gonna say something like, "You believed that? That's funny, that's kinda bunk ya silly goose. Here's the real story...."
Hey mormons...someone put in the suggestion box at church that the head dog making the rules needs to talk to the Cottle family and see what they are up to. I guarantee you'll be converting like crazy.
Hey non-mormons...stop judging people for being mormon! There seems to be a verse that would apply here...something about pulling the plank outta yer own eye before you pull the speck outta someone else's? (Don't quote me on that, I don't have my bible memorized and I don't read it every morning. You know someone is judging me on that too...guess what, my mind doesn't work like yours, that doesn't mean I'm not a Christian!)
I hope you will stop judging others for what they believe and who they are. Since my bipolar diagnosis I've become someone that is easily judged. So I'm working on NOT judging others, because I know I have been a judger just like you.
Thank you Jenny, Brady, Jaden, Mitchell, Katelyn, Crew and the LDS church for helping others. Anncheri Roberts, Megan Bryant, Kayla-Leah Rich, Laura Sond, Stacey Lytle, Chad Lytle, Danae Valle, Victor Valle, Katie Lin Valle this goes for you and yours too. <3
Tag your mormon friends...tag your Christian friends...tag your "whatever" friends...the ones that don't judge to say thank you and the ones that do judge and need to hear this. (Don't worry, they won't know which you think they are...LOL).
